Hey Coyote fans!
I’m u/Olbaidon and I wanted to come into your sub to try to spread some good and happiness during a time of turmoil.
I am a Washington resident, Kraken fan, and help mod the sub over there, but prior to the birth of the Kraken I didn’t have a primary west-coast team. I was/am a Capitals fan that was holding out for WA to one day get a team. Until that time came the team on this side of the states I followed the closest was yours. As a goalie fan I enjoyed watching Mike Smith and still vividly remember the goal he scored against Detroit with less than a second remaining, and as a Spokane resident I loved when Ray Whitney joined the Coyotes for a bit (he played for our WHL team). My dad snowbirds to Gold Canyon and we were working on planning a trip over this fall with hopes of making it to a Coyotes game too.
Long story short I recently came into possession of a small handful of Coyote cards from a mystery break I did, while nothing **crazy** I do have a few fun ones that I wanted to give away for you guys here!
**Rules: Simply make a top level comment**
After roughly 24 hours I will randomly pick 3 top level comments. I may vet the profiles a bit to make sure there aren’t any bot like tendencies. I will then reach out to the winners and post a comment of who they are.
The first winner will get the cards circled in Green
The second winner will get the cards circled in Blue
The last winner picked will win the autographed card circled in red.
**I will cover postage and all that jazz, I’ll just need to make contact to get a good mailing address.**
I typically just give extra cards away to the local rink, trade them, or sell them if I can but I thought some of you may want the chance at some as maybe you already collect, have been thinking of collecting, or just want a little piece of “memories.”
I sincerely hope NHL hockey makes its way back to Arizona in the fastest and most sustainable way, and I am going to miss seeing one of the best jerseys and logos to grace the ice until then.

Thanks man! I’d love a chance to get an Auto card! I’m a sucker for player auto cards! I’m continuing to root for the Yotes regardless of their location! Hopefully they return to AZ with a new arena!

It’s funny, I became a coyotes fan right when they bottomed out. I had always wanted to see the team succeed and was hoping things would turn around with Armstrong. Spent a lot of time defending the coyotes, urging people to actually look at what Armstrong is doing but most people didn’t listen.
I’ve been a long time card collector, my dad and I try to go shows when we can, the Imama and Carcone young guns I haven’t been able to find at any card shows and I haven’t had the time due to finishing up my degree and work.
That ghost card is super sick, I hope someone who’s a fan of his is able to nab him!

Thank you. Not looking to win a card OP, I’d rather a younger fan or collector takes it. Nonetheless, thank you. Mod is correct in how much this place is hurting and needs reminders that the greater community cares and the great memories and family we made.
I’m not sure 7 Gostisbeheres would be such a great “defense mechanism” but it sure would be hard for the opposing team to clear the puck on penalty kill.
That’s awesome you are doing this!!! My son is 8 and about to tryout for the travel team here in May for next season. I told him his new team will have to be my favorite hockey team now that the Coyotes were ripped from us haha.

Man those would definitely look good on my coyotes shelf. Only have a couple cards so far.
I feel like every hockey team I start following gets jinxed. In college I started getting into hockey and decided to cave into peer pressure and be a Fighting Sioux fan. 2-3 years later, they have to change their name to the Fighting Hawks.
Then I started going and cheering my local junior hockey team (moved back home). Try and go as often as I can and support them. Dept of Homeland Security and Border Patrol want to buy the land where the arena is located to expand the commercial check point. If they buy the land, we lose our County Coliseum (so much history), a newly renovated ice arena, and possibly the hockey team.
Always kept checked in the Coyotes from time to time. Loved their logo since the first time I saw it when I played Backyard Hockey. The Kachina logo is THE BEST hockey logo and top 5 sports logo. Period. My brother and I finally got a chance to see a live game this past Dec. Loved the game, loved the atmosphere, bought jerseys, and we’re already planning on going back next season. Then they left for Salt Lake City.
I can’t catch a break with Ice Hockey teams.
