Not worried about Seider at all. And I’m a HUGE Wings fan.
Second
50 goals that where his fault nah he’s mixing mo with petry. Dude he is still a beast In my mind. Yea he does turnover the puck but that’s everyone on our team. I am not worried about mo at all.
The fact that Seider played almost exclusively against opposing teams best players speaks far more to our personnel than it does his ability and any possible regression. Improve our D corps, and everything will be amazing.
Hey Lego i left a comment a few weeks ago regarding your video titles. It might just be a coincidence, but i've noticed a difference since i did, thank you so much. Its much appreciated, keep grinding, love your videos.
Wings fan for life. I'm not worried about Seider. Playing the toughest minutes in the league and still putting up the points he did, I'm impressed.
Seider had a career high in goals and was the first D-man to put together a season with 200+ hits and 200+ blocked shots in years while playing the toughest minutes in the NHL . . . NOT WORRIED!
Could the decrease in reverse hits be due to the rest of the league learning that it isn't a good idea to hit him in the first place?
He's solid but does have his lazy stretches,…lazy passes and lazy checking,…but solid
I don’t believe that there’s a “huge chunk“ of wings fans that feel that way. A few morons maybe
Seider had some defensive lapses for sure, but he was a shot blocking machine as well. I do think he needs to get better at when and when not to shoot the puck. He passes up great opportunities with traffic in front of the net time and time again. Overall, he is a good young defender with a great potential.
blame Steve yzerman one the defense around seider is below average and two the goaltending is also below average
He is gonna be a stud. More help in the ranks will free him up to destroy his opposition. Bright future… Raymond money maybe. But not gonna lie… less money 4 him means more money 4 help.
Made it bout 4 mins into the video before I gave up real wings fan know seider is the man
I watched seider for like 50 games this year. I saw the give away and mistakes. But not once did I feel like he was hurting the team. It isn’t just his competition. It’s his help. Walman did good this year but he’s a second line def in reality. Let’s erase all of that for sec. He’s 23 against the best. On a team who lacks def. And goaltending has been an issue at times. Line changes all the tome by lalonde. Plays every game. Scores points. Hits and blocks shots. Yzerman could give him 8-9 aav for 8 years and I wouldn’t sweat at all
He was a top 3 red wing this season.
The reverse hits dont happen anymire because teams know who tf he is and they barely attempt to hit him anymore unless its a board battle kind of thing. He still lays the boom though.
Yes, he needs to work on his d zone turn overs. I will agree with that. But Blashdril is kind of dimwitted in saying "like 50" goals were on him. Like another reply said, he was all upset at Yzerman for trading Vrana lol, not like Yzerman knows what he's doing or anything.
Im sure Mo knows he needs to work on the turn overs, but he didnt cost us the playoffs "all on his own" like someone quoted lol. He's a 23 year old kid going up against the best of the best and he was able to neutralize his match ups as much as an elite dman would. He hasnt even hit his prime yet, i know he'll kick it into another gear as the next few years come.
Anyone who can rub at least 2 brain cells together should not be concerned about Seider. For toughest competition I didn’t see Makar on that list, fox, Hughes, josi, Bouchard, etc. This guy is 23 and still learning while being asked to do literally EVERYTHING for this team. Obviously he was going to make mistakes he’s practically being set up to fail with the defensive help around him. Lock him up 8 years no less. LGRW!
He's young he's going to make defensive slips from time to time he will learn from his mistakes
As for reverse checks, he probably has fewer of those since more players are aware of his reverse checks and avoid him
His game is still evolving, and continuing to improve. There will be better offensive numbers for in the future!
Seider got far less PP last season. Ghost kinda took the main QB position on the PP. So the points are naturally little harder to come by without the help of PP minutes. I think he's fine but he does need to fine tune when to hit and not to hit, some of his plays where he puts himself out of position to make a hit did cost us.
