Avalanche broadcast just said they won’t show the replay because it’s so bad.

This is why you get your ass off the ice after the game instead of throwing down the gloves. End of the season for this clown.

Hopefully he’s okay. Nerve damage is the big concern. Hate to see this no matter the circumstances.

Yikes. Hope he’s OK. Anyone got full replay?

Obligatory post as a physician: looked like the top of his hand (dorsal, housing lots of extensor tendons, but also very vascular).
My hope: it’s bleeding a lot because it’s a vascular area and that cut looks wide. Sew it up, get a cool scar.
Potential really bad outcome: any extensor tendon severed. Surgery and a tedious, pretty long recovery. If this is the case, Dillon’s season is over, gotta have that surgery asap. Nerve damage is possible, but I’d be far more concerned about long-term ability to extend any of those fingers.
Overall lesson learned: losing games is part of sport. Post-game fights are part of playoff hockey. It’s an occupational hazard, and this can happen. As a diehard Avs fan, I hope his hand is fine, can get stitched up and bandaged real nice, and he’s suited up for game 4.

Holy fuck he’s done for the rest of the playoffs. That is a very serious injury. Holy fuck again. That’s bad. My god!! You hope he’ll have mobility in that hand kinda injury, he’ll never be the same kinda injury! Holy shit!!

That looks awful. Best wishes to him.

I hope he is ok, but… play stupid games, win stupid prizes, the Jets started this whole thing after the game was over…..

Hands can bleed a lot if they’re cut in the wrong place without dealing any serious damage. Hopefully that’s the case

I saw the fight. Then the blood at the end. Didn’t know it was this bad. Dang, really hope he’s okay. Never want to see injuries like that. Especially at the end of the game?Things escalated so quickly.

Ick! Hope he’s ok and doesn’t have to miss too much time

A lot of blood in this game. First Toews and then Dillon. Tough break, hope they’re both ok
