It should’ve always been Woll. Sammy was shaky at the end of regular season at times looked like the mid season Sammy. I get Woll got hurt, but man…you can’t trust Sammy in net. The sample size shows he just doesn’t have it in him and Woll showed promise before getting hurt and was good last yr. Team just couldn’t score.
Hellebucyk is the most overrated goalie in the NHL – particularly by you guys in the media. You guys were sayingof course he would bounce back game 2..he did not..Game 3? NOT again…He is simply not a playoff goalie..but will he be criticized as much for the 17 goals in 3 games as much as Samsonov's one bad goal? Of course not! Can Hellebucyk be pulled in that series if he lets in another 5 or 6 for the 4th game in a row? Of course not! He is a media darling and goaltending royalty for winning Jack Squat.
