This turned into a giant parade in the penalty box for LA. Game was over anyway so since Kane tortured LA while in SJ, they just naturally hate him. Took some time but since LA was already frustrated, Kane was an easy target and easy to rattle. Kane had it coming with his play in the past.

Hockey is a very physical game and it does get unnecessarily ugly many times.. but if it seriously injures a high profile player then the hockey haters are going to come out in full force to "regulate" the game
As someone who grew up playing hockey, that type of hit can easily be avoided- you hit the BODY of the player, not clip their head. Even if Englund stayed low, the head was his target. Much respect to Kane for getting up to take care of his own business, too bad there was no one else to do it for him.
terrible job by the refs. there was zero explanation on the penalties and that lasted the whole night, like can someoen please explain the 2 minors since the incompetent refs cant. i mean every penalty thathappened was a 5 minute affair last night. these guys were a joke

Kings are not in the same weight class to be doing this, Oilers have Kane, Perry, Nurse and Desharnais, all 4 don't mind throwing a few, and Desharnais who by the way had two Kings in head locks at the same time. If the Kings don't play hockey and stop getting penalties they may as well dust off the clubs.
