  1. Take heart, the B's have only some chance to get through the big 3. The Leafs would've had zero chance. Imagine what FLA would do to them– this is a more dignified way to go

  2. Some player a payed to score goals. Some are payed to win. There's a BIG difference there. As long as the Leafs don't understand that. They will remain NHL's clowns.

  3. Time to dump some dead weight, I would say no one is safe they’re all brutal, back hand passes without looking won’t win hockey games

  4. I was born in 1966, so I’ve only ever known the Leafs as a losing team, but nobody has their number more than the Bruins.

  5. From now on just decline the Power Play when given and just ask for a Tim Horton's Double Double in exchange.

  6. Im a leafs fans and I gotta say leafs suck big time. They re sloppy they re lame they dont even try. They could really win the series if they wanted to but they dont care. Plus keefe is a crappy coach. PP totally worthless and I also dont understand why woll was not tending the last game and this one from the beggining. Samsonov is one of the worst goalies in the whole league.

  7. The leafs have over paid players that have yet to prove themselves in the playoffs. What a waste of money. The leafs need to rebuild again and stop paying players until they prove themselves in the playoffs. 8 years Matthews has been with the leafs and all eight years has done nothing in the playoffs..

  8. I'm sorry Maple Leafs. You will have our sausages. πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›πŸ΄πŸ’›

  9. What is a top scorer in the regular
Season, but totally useless in playoffs worth? Someone submit the actions of Samsonov of the 2 first goals to fail army. Hilarious. Positioned 2m outside the goal on a power play πŸ˜…

  10. The Bruins lost Orlov, Taylor Hall, Bertuzzi, David Krejci and the great Patrice Bergeron. And replaced then with Shatenkirk, Hienen, Jvr and Lucic lol
Think about that for a sec

  11. Congratulations to the Maple Leafs on another bullshit, maybe with McDavid and Kucherov in the lineup it will be easier for you to win the cup.

  12. Eight games vs Boston this year and Toronto has only had the lead for a total of 14 minutes while losing 7 times. If this was a beer league they would have moved the Leafs down two divisions.

  13. What realistically needs to happen is to get rid of everyone except for Matthews, Nylander, Knies, and maybe Robertson. I am not happy with the way Matthews often disappears in the playoffs, but you have to have a #1 center to build it back up with, and he is the guy.

Fire Shanahan into the sun! His "plan", which involved hiring an unproven rookie GM, has led this team to a pit that could take years to climb out of! Strip Tavares of the Captaincy and ask him and Marner to waive their no move clauses! If they say no then get whoever the new head coach is to sit them or give them 4th line minutes. They have proven they cannot get it done, its over PERIOD. Morgan Rielly should get shipped out as well, zero offensive help when the Leafs need it most and is a liability at defending most nights too. Axe the whole blue line, AHL'ers couldn't be much worse. Make a trade for a goalie or sign one with the money you save on Marner/Tavares. Anyone is better than the goalie they have now, PLAY WITH AN EMPTY NET IF YOU HAVE TO! Start fresh while you still have Prime years of Matthews left ffs. If you have to be subpar for a year or two to build it back up, DO IT! Regular season success means nothing. No more chasing individual records. No more excuses. Something has to change. Something DRASTIC has to change.

This team cannot continue on this way as if Playoff loss after Playoff loss is the status quo. It is sickening watching these overpaid bums get outclassed by players like Brad Marchand who makes half their salary but plays with twice the heart.

By the way I am not even a Leafs fan lol. Hawks fan but am tired of Leafs getting clowned on. I will see all you next year when things inevitably stay the same.

  14. Reaves threw this one, game was real even and chippy both ways until that giveaway goal. Unforch because everyone hoping Boston loses this series.

  15. The last time the Leafs beat the Bruins in the playoffs was in 1959, 65 years ago. There are Bruins fans collecting Social Security who were not alive then.

Although to be fair, they’ve only faced each other 6 times since then (amazing it’s so few):
    1969: 4-0
    1972: 4-1
    1974: 4-0
    2013: 4-3
    2018: 4-3
    2019: 4-3

Part of this is a 39-years of not facing each other part of that because they were not in the same conference.

Previous to 1969, they faced each other 10 times and Leafs won 8-2.

The only two times they lost were Milt Schmidt’s 2 Stanley Cups in 39 and 41.

This means that the playoff history is tied and 8 series wins a piece.

By 1959, the Leafs were up 8-2 and the Bruins managed to tie it.

  16. When you're a leafs fan and lions fan there not much to cheer about some glimmers of hope here and there lots of disappointments one thing for sure there always good laughs and next year now time for golf course ⛳️ πŸŽ‰πŸ˜Š
