leafs looked fucking awful last night . not a big fan of the team but i cheer for any canadian team in the playoffs . but my god , it almost put me to sleep .
Unless there is a miraculous turnaround, this Leafs coaching staff has to go and Marner gets moved. Special Teams are atrocious. Atrocious. Marner not being locked up makes him the odd man out and hopefully he will waive his NMC. He will get moved well under market value because of his weak playoff resume. If they can get Marner moved and JT to re-sign at a team friendly price, or just move on, they will have room to add key pieces for the final 2025-2028 window.
Ya like you said “you feel bad” for the leafs, the past few years it was hilarious and amusing to see them lose, now the jokes over it’s actually sad.
It’s not “happening again”, they’re doing it again. The Leafs are an underachieving team that nobody holds accountable. They’ve shown for the better part of a decade that they’re not capable of getting the job done in the playoffs. It’s time for some major changes with personnel

I feel the Maple Leafs trying to get Mathews to 70 goals negatively affected them coming into the playoffs

Anybody who has watched hockey for at least a decade knows that the Cup winner never is full of high-priced talent. It's about chemistry, good defense and goaltending. Leafs have NONE of those things. Why is anyone surprised about these results?
I love when Toronto fans get to taste reality. This Toronto team is never going to win a cup. Matthew’s is more concerned with getting 70 goals in the regular season than he is being a champion. Marner doesn’t play physical hockey… EVER. They don’t go for those greasy goals. Other than Domi and Bert. The Toronto soft hand shake sissy’s. Boston owns you.

I lovin' it. I hate the Leafs and the fans to the core. This year, Leafs fans have been particularly vocal on Twitter about how great this team is and especially Nylander amazing play during a final year of his contract. Now I get to see the real Leafs players in action during the playoff and how Leafs fans have all of a sudden turned silent or turned against their team. You Leafs suck and Leafs fans are delusional. Now let me go on and rant about the Blue Jays. They suck too.

as I said under series preview video I expected to return to Boston with 3-1 for Boston. now let's see if Bruins can choke worse than Leaves. I don't think they will but we all know they can.
I expect Leaves to suddenly show up and win game 5. probably score 3 goals. and lose at home. they love giving their fans hope and crush it, preferably at home arena.
Leafs didn't use their strength, their speed, lost position, team, seems to hate others on their own team, NOT playing as a unit this game at all. Nylander out a no truth given as to why, not even hinted at, Matthews 'ill' again just like last year and the reason changes every week. People knew pushing for 70 goals was going to disjoint the team and create problems, it has. Keefe getting outcoached again, but still, you have to lose 4 to lose the series.
Beg to differ about Samsonof. The Vanremsdyke goal was stopable. On the Marchand goal Sami was way out of the net and tryed his infamous bellyflop save to no avail. Had he been back in his net, standing up he could have got that one too. Combine the mediocre goally and with Mitch/Mathews/Willy all hurting , there is your game.
