Hey Montgomery, are you still gonna complain about being in Toronto too long, if you check the leafs last 5 playoffs game at home they were winless, now it's 7 without an home wiin, maybe next time you get home ice advantage against leafs you should decline and let leafs have it.
You mentioned scrums with the panthers. IMO panthers got away with murder in all 3 series (not just against the Bs). Zebras finally started calling them in the SCF. B's would be up – they run ully- and end up on PP somehow. But that tactic vs vegas got a PP and people kicked out of the game. Just my opinion but Florida has a much different experience if the zebras call the first three rounds as tight as they did the SCF
Cam Neely could score and fight equally well. He was the perfect power forward.
I think the goalie situation is ultimately going to be king of the crease. you win? you stay! you lose? next guy up! Giving each of them a game at the start of each series is big to get their feet wet against a team, then game 3 is whoever looked better between 1 and 2. It isnt conventional obviously, but it isnt conventional to have 2 of the 6 or 7 best goalies in all of hockey on the same team

Here’s what kills me about this situation: the Leafs are the dumpster fire I (and many Bs fans) preferred the Bruins to face in round 1; who in their right minds would have preferred the Lightning? The problem is that with a dumpster fire, you can all stand around and point and laugh and still put the fire out easily —because it’s IN a dumpster. IF the Bs get to the second round, the metaphor changes to that of a group of guys trying to escape a raging inferno with a couple of squirt guns, and we will all wonder if it would have been better to learn how to deal with a really tough team instead. If Boston ends up in the second round and they get Florida, how many games will it take for the Bruins to get up to speed? Will they drop 2 games ugly before they manage a spirited effort in a close loss in game 3? Please God no.
I thnk the laughs would be a good OHL team…they are definately not N.H.L caliber and bring back that zamboni driver in nets for game 5….HAHAHA
