  1. KK can be an absolute monster. He's 6'3, can grow in to 220. He's also the best natural athlete of the centers. He doesn't skate well yet, but he's fast. He also has great puck skills and sense. Give him a little confidence and its over

  2. This is a very good reflection on KK 👍. Next year will be his year of truth. Danault will most likely be gone and his role will be filled by Jake Evans and we can anticipate that Poehling will be ready for the fourth spot.

  3. People also have to consider he's still the 12th youngest player in the entire league. He's still getting better and getting used to training that much. He's also Montreal's best playoff goal scorer since 2015

  4. habs only look good cuse they are playing the Leafs. I 100% believe Toronto will choke and the Jets will take Montreal is 6. Habs have no defense and Jets have shown they can hold the greatest goal scorer in the Nhl RN to 3 points. Plus Leafs habs has not been too physical allowing the smaller Habs forwards to work their magic. Unless Staal and Perry decide to actually play well i really dont see Habs going further. However still, if they beat Toronto that is still impressive and it keeps the memes alive.

btw 2004 was the last time the leafs wona series.

  5. In a sense yes, but because of danault's playstyle i dont think itll happen as long as hes here

Philip danault isnt a scorer or even a huge playmaker, which sounds weird for a 1st line center, but he has one specialty that i think makes him unique in the league ; he is a shutdown specialist. He always finds ways to guide his team into cornering the most dangerous players from the enemy team. The matthews and nylander's, the mcdavid's and draisaitl's, the tkatchuk's, etc.

And then theres nick suzuki, who under normal circumstances would be the #1 center, as hes the best offensive playmaker in the group, with caufield and either toffoli, anderson or evans. Which leaves kk as a "3rd center" even tho his role is technically that of a 2nd, and staal as the true 4th center

  6. The kid is a playoff performer.
I don’t care what potential he has, him and Suzuki will both be amazing as the Habs top two centers for so many years to come once Danault leaves.
That being said, he’s still going to be number three behind Suzuki and Danault for a while.

  7. Not to sure if he can be a #1 center but I can easily see him being a amazing 2nd line guy or like a 1b guy

  8. I really hope he does become line 1. Suzuki with shuffle with him for 1/2.
I can't wait to see Poehling in 3/4, he has crazy potential too.

I like this team, win or lose, I'm happy watching them.
