Tyler Seguin tosses his smelling salts into a fan’s beer 3/25/13

Once thought to be Bruins assistant coach Geoff Ward, but now known to be Tyler Seguin (see the reflection in the glass to the left of Ward) casually tosses his smelling salts over the glass and directly into the beer of a fan behind the bench at the Bruins-Leafs game at TD Garden, on March 25, 2013.

  1. It wasn't a mouth guard. It was those little packet things that athletes smell to give them a jolt of energy before a game. I forget what its called but thats what seguin threw.

  2. Yea, the description was changed…it said while I commented, that coach Ward threw his earpiece

  3. Well, that's great… 21 hours ago, everyone thought it was Ward tossing his earpiece, I was just telling them that it wasn't him.

  4. It was on NHL.com for a few days with the title "Assistant coach tosses earpiece into fan's beer". I don't really put these things under a microscope.

  5. Doesn't mean it was Peverly. There isn't much room between the benches and the boards, Seguin was standing against the boards on the ice.

  6. Whoa, whoa, whoa!! Forget the smelling salts! Is that a black guy at a hockey game?? And front row no less! INCREDIBLE!

  7. ….

you know there's black guys that PLAY hockey, right…? PK Subban (Canadiens) Ryan Reaves (Blues) Ray Emery (BlackHawks) Wayne Simmonds (Flyers) just to name a few…

  8. Of course I know, it was just a joke. There are very few black players in hockey, statistically speaking though.

  9. It wasn't the coach you fools.. and in watching the game live surely the uploader learned that it was Seguin's salts after the commentators discussed it, which we didn't see

  10. I donā€™t give a fuck who threw it that was one of the funniest things Iā€™ve ever seen. His Face was the backboard for his beer (hoop). Hockey players are definitely the funniest of all pro athletes and even though the sport they play is insanely hard they get paid for way less than other professional sports players that do half the time and effort. They are blue-collar professional athletes.

  11. Lmfao @ the guy who got the smelling salt tossed in his beer…looks up as if it came from the rafters or something šŸ˜‚
