Why are so many surprised. They`ve showed the same lack of character for the last few years. Why would this year be any different? Way too much paid to overrated prima donnas. Management are also to blame for terrible asset management. letting guys like Carter Verhaeghe and Mason Marchment go for nothing. Not keeping Jared McCann over Alex kerfoot. Leafs should watch footage and study how the 74, 75 Philadelphia Flyers played hockey. These guys had skill, grit and balls.
I think the only way Marner gets traded, is if leafs retain salary. Keefe definitely needs to go. They need someone with more accountability.
