Canucks Game Day: Podkolzin skates on top line, 24 Hour Livestream is TONIGHT!



The Canucks take on the Philadelphia Flyers with likely the same line up as Wednesday night. However, Vasily Podkolzin took line rushes with Elias Pettersson and JT Miller so we’ll see if that’s where he lines up tonight.

Brock Boeser is getting close to returning but probably won’t play tonight.

    I reeeeeaallly wish hoglander was on the 2nd line and pearson on the 3rd. Hoglander wins puck battles and has better offense. Its time to free our captain and unleash his potential

    I say… Canucks 5 Flyers 3….. gonna be a wide open game with lots of physical plays.. we got a more skilled team than the Flyers and if all things executed properly…. we should be able to pop in more goals!! I have a feelign Podz will score his first career goal tonight!!

    I guess they will just keep alternative with Chiasson until Boeser is back. What if Podz has a big night, 2 goals and an assist. Does he stay a few more games, even if Brock is ready?

    Someone commented that when Podz was on with Petey it looked like they thought the game at the same tempo. I thought that too. They were able to find eachother with good passes. And always thought Podz ability to rush down the puck in the o-zone would compliment a player like Petey very well. Petey doesn't need a lot of prime chances to bury the puck and Podz has so far dished a bunch of beauty's only to have it die on the stick of a mediocre player. Excited to see how it goes.
