  1. Shout out to Dakota Joshua, unsung hero on OT goal. Hope Canucks attack, attack, attack, next game, don't want to fly back clear across N. America for game 6.

  2. Lookin'' good BMO. I was the host who scanned you in at Game 2. Love this content keep it up and we'll always remember you here in Van!

  3. Game 4 last night reminded of some playoff runs back in the day. I remember watching Brendan and Ed in 2004 Game 7 vs Calgary, although the team didn't pull off the win. Brendan was on the ice that time and Ed was in the penalty box. Markus Naslund goes end to end, takes a shot on Kiprusoff, Matt Cooke with the rebound and scores with 5.7 seconds left to bring it to OT.

  4. Loving the channel, it’s awesome to get a former players perspective on the game! Would love to have you on a episode of Canucks Digest if you were interested!

  5. As you had mentioned about the 2004 Calgary Flames playoff series, Mikka Kiprusoff had a historic season. it would be unfair to blame any Canucks goalie for losing to the Flames in playoffs that year.

  6. 16:22 How much ya wanna bet Sissons is practicing skating and shooting at empty nets with the puck today? Or the rest of the team is insisting he maybe do a few reps?

19:16 Imagine the dB level at Rogers Arena when the Canucks hit the ice tomorrow night? Preds are going to be shell shocked by that. I just hope guys like Miller and Garland can absorb that energy and go all rage-0-hol on the Preds D-core and force mistake after mistake. I realize that Garland is small, but he's mighty.

29:48 A friend lost his sh!t over it (I didn't see it as I was out at the time), and when I saw it, I was like, "WTF was Petts doing standing around in the first place?" He's kinda lost out there. No wonder that happened.

33:04 There's a bunch of those to list..

  7. I'm curious as a player what do you think the mindset must be like for the Predators being down 3-1 and coming off such a tough loss. I'm guessing a lot of guys are going to go out and have a "just have fun" pressure-off type mindset for game 5, and maybe a few hardcore guys still think they can climb back or have pride and will play desperate tough hockey. Seems reasonable to expect the Preds to go off script a bit, which can be dangerous but also can be anticipated and taken advantage of by the Canucks?

  8. KICKED. that was a kicked goal and you both know it cmon man. kicking motion regardless of skimming the skate along the ice or not. KICKED

  9. Id like to hear your thoughts on pettersson's first real playoff series and what he can do too help the nucks moving forward in the playoffs

If you could get Trevor linden as a guest sometime during the nuck 24 run…sweet

  10. If 1/3 of westcoast express and Jovocop are puzzled as to why the Crow didn't play the moose, only the Crow and the big guy upstairs know.

  11. Great episode! Awesome to hear these two reminiscing on old times. Getting Burke next would be great content too haha

  12. Stumbled on your channel and subscribed right away. I’ve been a diehard Canucks fan for almost 30 years now. The West Coast express era was during my childhood and involve some of my favourite memories as a fan. Jovo scored the lone goal in a 1-1 tie against the Avalanche my first live game back in the early 2000’s. Nice video. Go Canucks Go! Finish those Preds tomorrow!

  13. What I don’t understand is WHY do these guys do stuff that causes penalties? Let’s face it, so many important goals are scored on the power play. You could pretty much say that power plays have a significant impact on virtually EVERY game! Is it just me who so glaringly sees this? It drives me f#&*n NUTS! Ok, he tripped or held or cross checked the guy, so now we’re down a man and they score!! Don’t coaches tell the guys “don’t take dumb penalties”? It will mean the difference whether we win the cup or not! Granted, I’m not a player and I get that it’s incredibly intense etc, but I have been watching for sixty years. I’ve always wanted to ask an actual NHL player what is with that?

  14. Hi Brendan Morrison. I’m not sure if you’re reading these comments. However, I wanted to say you’re doing a great job with your YouTube channel and social media. Keep reaching out and doing collabs and showing an overall effort in the social media sphere, and along with your already existing great reputation you’ll go a long way.

I loved you on Rob Talks Hockey!!

  15. I don’t think that Forsberg kicked the puck.I do think he did redirect it. That was for sure a redirect….but that’s legal ! So too bad it happened but as it turns out…who cares lol

  16. Brendon you should connect and pin more comments. If you interact with fans ON social media. You’ll be top notch social media. Subscribers through the moon buddy. Hope you read. Good job Morrisy

  17. Quinn taking his lumps, and breaking Nyquists ankles to set up the tying goal is greater than Bobby Orr's doings. I'm sure Luke Schenn ( Quinns mentor) warned his team that if you don't stop Quinn Hughes we are losing this series.

  18. Canucks and Florida in the finals? Who's got the better chance? Zadorov breaking Tkatchuks sternum in a massive hit? What are the odds on this?
