Is it surprising Morgan Frost hasn’t asked Flyers for a trade? | PHLY Sports

After 11 healthy scratches, a 30+ minute benching in Game 82, and a 2nd straight 40-point season, Morgan Frost is the sole point-producing center in Philly’s lineup. But that hasn’t mattered much to John Tortorella.

Bill, Charlie & Kelly try to define the relationship between coach and player, and what could be next for one of the Flyers most-discussed skaters.

  1. I want frost to stay
    He’s improving

I believe he’s able to put up with torts
    He likes it

Keep him he can be number 2 center on any team

    He’s flyer

  2. I feel frost will be scratch less next season

Laughton gets traded watch torte pin him A

If frost can put up 55 to 63 points
    Continue to grow 2 way
    Works hard
Put some power play goals in
    I be ok

Win maybe 49% to 53% face offs I’m ok

  3. This remind me of the first year when Torts was getting Sanheim and he turned out better. Kinda funny that all these kids come as good offensive players and Torts gets ahold of them and they develop a defensive/ dog mentality on the puck. Torts really knows what buttons to push to make them better players and thats why no one is asking to traded.
Imo he reminds me of an oldschool father figure thats hard on his boy and expects him to be the best version of himself.
