  1. I'm sure heavy teams don't like to get hit either but aside from a few, the B's don't have enough players for whom physicality is part of their mentality or skill set.

  2. My mind continues to go back to Lucic. Watching the footage of him returning to Boston, giddy with excitement, and so thankful and humble, as he fought back tears on multiple occasions, seeing how hard he was pushing himself in the few games he played… then suddenly it was like having a good friend just vanish without a trace. After what we went through with the Panthers last year, along with losing Bergeron and Krejci, as well as Bertuzzi and Orlov, which were among the hardest working players in the series, who had truly embraced the spoked B, it was like a gift from the hockey gods to see Lucic return. But after just a few games, BOOM. Lucic gets drunk and makes a complete fool of himself in the most bizarre and depressing thing I've ever seen in my 30 years of being a Bruins fan.
That being said, what worries me the most right now is the lack of identity. We have a cluster f**k of odds and ends for a team, with no consistency from anyone, especially with a coach that has proven by his actions that he is NOT a good coach. What happened last year's playoffs is inexcusable, and Monty should have been fired. Now we are playing under the watch of an incompetent coach that cannot be trusted to make the best decisions for the team, and their identity is gone.
Now, even the f**** broadcasts are screwed up. Many of us can't even tolerate our own home network broadcasts because Jack Edwards sounds like his freaking brain is being boiled in his skull, while every viewer is sat there looking at each other and asking what in the hell is going on here?!!!
I have no confidence in Ullmark, and I am worried about Swayman.
If this team wins the first round, I will be shocked.

  3. 2024 Bs do align with 2011. 2 goalies for are very good. Good strong D core that had maybe 8 deep. No #1 center. Bergie and Krech are good but not McDavid/Mackinnon/Crosby.
Different player by player, but similar construction. No one thought 2011 was a top contender. Both might be 8 or less in talent.
