OK Guys, its time to take a look at an interesting player that could be on the trading block for the Minnesota Wild. Today.. Were going to take a look at some Kevin Fiala news.. Some interesting comments were made by General Manager Bill Geurin about a potential change of scenery for Fiala. And of course, when players are potentially on the trading block, they are automatically somehow linked to the Montreal Canadiens. Should the Habs take a flyer on Fiala?

Habs fans, just like Leafs fans have never, ever been able to distinguish between Hype and hope. Why do Hab and Leaf fans feel the need to play GM all the time? Being a frequent flyer doesn’t make you a pilot no more than being ill and having to go to the doctor all the time make you a physician so why do simpleton Habs add Leafs fans, just fans mind you feel compelled to think they’re qualified to be a GM?

Too much rebuild next year and too much team will tank for Bédard or Michkov. Every player like Fiala or Letang will be overpaid.. Let’s draft Ivan Miroshnichenko and take our time for a solid rebuild.

don't. he'll want something in the neighborhood of 7.5-8m at least.
the wild can't afford him, so the reasons for dealing him are obvious. but he won't get the habs anywhere near the playoffs. and i'd be worried about the contract, length and AAV. and i doubt i'm willing to deal what it takes to get him. expect him to go to a team like the sens or devils, who've expressed interest in moving their pick, and believe themselves ready to challenge for a playoff spot.
keep building for the future. fiala is not the piece we need, at least not right now. draft wright at 1 and try to get miroshnichenko with the other 1st. there should be a steal available at 33 too.
Honestly, wouldn’t mind moving off one of the young d kids for a guy who is little more nhl ready and still fits the timeline. We may have a logjam with the amount of depth but just a thought. Dont think Hughes and Gorton are dudes who’d act as rashly as I would but you never know.
