We've known for years that the core doesn't have what it takes to be successful in the playoffs. Yet, year after years the leafs keep it the same and think the results will be different. They need to grow some stones and pull a big a move like the panthers did when they got Tkachuk.

Marner plays too small in the playoffs. Anyone watching this team play in the playoffs against a physical team like Florida and Boston should see the fluff four do not compete well against this style of hockey .
Until the leafs build a team to compete against Florida or Boston, which should be their primary objective. They better move out of the Atlantic division, otherwise expect the same results next year
