Michkov situation is meh, who knows when he’ll come over.
Coots situation – maybe something just happened between him and his agent and had nothing to do with the flyers? It’s all speculation at this point.
Hard no on Stamkos. Send Marner to the moon, don’t want that one dimensional entitled crybaby anywhere near this team. TK fits the team and their style, you should sign him. Nylander is someone I would definitely be interested in but Toronto just signed him a big ticket so that would cost a lot.
Option 3: you trade Couturier for a player on an equally bad long-term albatross contract. Like Coots for Gaudreau . I wouldn’t as I still think his defense at worst makes him a good 3rd line center, but if it’s untenable then that’s another option
