The question is – is this Boston blowing ANOTHER 3-1 series lead, or is this the Leafs giving their fans false hope before letting them down in the end?
Let’s assume Leafs force game 7 and win it. Then what? How do they plan to beat Florida, Dallas, Vegas, Colorado, Rangers, if you barely beat a Bruins team that wasn’t supposed to be good?
Marchard and Montgomery both used the phrase Toronto was better, IT'S THAT SIMPLE. What is really that simple is that these bums are not championship caliber. Blew 3-1 last year, needed to put this away Tonight, couldn't!!! Same old team, great regular season but balls shrivel up when it really counts. I'm embarrassed to be a fan of this team. They continuously let their fans down
This was one of the worst hockey games I’ve ever seen. I sat down ready for playoff hockey and both teams were all over the place, catching edges, slipping out, whiffing shots, missing passes, I coulda sworn someone buttered their sticks. The B’s played like ass, the leafs played a little less ass unless you count their power play, which was the most ass, the officiating was terrible. There were basically no hits, the only guy who showed up was Swayman. The leaf’s backup was a miracle man compared to their starting goalie, but let’s be honest, not the hardest night in goal. Worst off, it was boring. You had TD GARDEN -30k seats of drunk Bostonians, some of the most dangerous/obnoxious people in the world, silently falling asleep for 90% of the game. Then the coaches start talking about desperation? Like, who was desperate?? This looked like a highschool game on both ends 😂 just a complete farce. Easily 30 passes went straight through the slot for each team, NO ONE HOME. I could go on. Ugh
