If this truly is the end of Stammer in Tampa, I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch next season.

I’m tired of not having a franchise player play their entire career for Tampa.

  1. He came to play this series and even if he didn’t score tonight, he was skating and hitting with purpose.

Why would he leave? Hes 34 and the captain. And the teams still good. Going somewhere else is pointless. He’ll take less and stay. Money goes further here anyway.

I think after the season he had, he probably gets a deal that he could get behind. I believe JBB can get it done— but I guess we will see.

  4. I’m hoping that JBB and Stamkos can work something out, but keep an eye on how the rest of the playoffs go. A team that is close, but if they fail to close the deal this year may offer Stamkos a deal he can’t refuse.

One team comes to mind right away – an overall solid team, that does not have a real leader, a real Captain IMO. The New York Rangers. Another might be the Dallas Stars.

Still remember, I was so hype we drafted that guy with the #1 overall pick. Was watching his CHL YT highlight on loop and couldn’t wait to watch him develop.

Well here we are now. Please JBB find a way to make it work.
