All I hope for is reffing that has continuity and allows for some actual playoff hockey. The reffing in RD1 was pretty fucking bad, for both parties.

As nervous as I am about our odds if we pull Carolina>Florida>Colorado, imagine how bad it is for hurricanes fans. They have to worry about the same but with us up next instead.
Looking at it from the outside, we kind of have it all. Top end talent, goaltending, depth, great special teams, toughness. I don’t think there’s another team that has everything we have going for us.

No reason to be afraid at all. None of us are actually playing and have no real effect on the game unless you are cheering in the crowd. At least they can hear you then. Unless… someone on the bench is scrolling Reddit. Then maybe we do. You know what? I was wrong. We do have an effect. Peca and Lav are scrolling Reddit to see what our takes are but it’s mostly on which arenas have annoying rally horns (caps, canes, pens).

Lots of interesting matchups but I really want to see how the Canes deal with Rempe. He has a tendency to cause alligator arms on some of these long passes up the boards.

I’m curious as to why Draft Kings has the NYR as underdogs?!? Are the Canes a better team? Is there something Draft Kings know that we all dont? As far as I know NYR are the better team…
