Funny, you left the fastest Hockey player in the world off your top 10n list. LW Yvan Cournoyer, also Steve Shutt was faster than Niedermayer. I hate the Habs, but I saw them play enough and skate past players on my Bruins enough.

not sure where Makar or MacKinnon should be rank on that list and Mogilny,Cournoyer are the most obvious omission but my vote for not only the fastest omission but should be the fastest to ever be in the NHL.He didnt play for long but i swear in 42 years of watching hockey my choice would be Marek Svatos may he RIP.

Where's Gaborik? He was fast like flash in his primetime
One thing that set Orr apart for skating was not pure speed but acceleration. He hit top speed so quickly that set him apart. But yes pure speed Bure was phenomenal
