During the first live stream since the offer sheet, I completely agreed with you about how it seemed like kk turned his back against us. After watching a “Habs Tonight” episode with Suzuki on it, it seems like the players can mutually agree that they know they should get the big money if offered it. Suzuki seemed proud of kk for getting that much money, and he was happy for him. This changed how I thought about this whole thing, and I now view it as a player accepting a lot more money than he’s worth, and not a betrayal.
Edit: you can also make a comparison to selling your house. If it’s worth 2-3 million and someone you don’t like offers 6, you’re obviously going to go with the 6 million offer because of how it helps you financially
I don't blame KK for signing the offer sheet. What player would not go for such a high salary increase over what he would have received from Carolina.
Carolina's revengfull actions are unprofessional as it mocks the earlier one by Mtl.

drouin at center was fine, not great but fine. he needs more than a season to excell at a new pos.
At best Drouin maybe could be a 3rd line center but not 2nd
I agree with you regarding Kk and also Drouin. I don’t feel any animosity against KK. Sure he had to be aware the Carolina is trolling the Habs, but I don’t think anyone else in his shoes would have turned down the offer sheet. I hope we match and and also hope that KK has a terrific year.
