Habs missed out, I KNEW this was gonna happen. He will be a stud, guaranteed. But dont worry Habs fans, we got David Reinbacher…😢 sad.
I knew right away he'll be in the NHL sooner than later. All that talk about how he wont be available to the NHL for half a decade or something was just a ploy for him to get drafted by an organization he preferred. Philly has a huge Russian community, it's an area thats a lot of fun to party at, so Im not surprised he wanted to play there. I wont be surprised if he's there next season, but I 100% expect him to be there by 2025. If only my Red Wings didn't get screwed by the lottery every year, for such a talent to be available at 7 is just unheard off. An elite talent like that would complete our rebuild!

Trading konecny is soooo stupid. What is this ignorance about one star? So all the top contenders currently have just 1 star? Get a clue!!! There is a simple solution here. Buyout Atkinson. Hell trade Farabee. But don't touch any of the current stars of the team. It's a TEAM folks!

Torts said he was preparing the team for the Mad Russian….he will accumulate more points than you give him credit for. Think about it, the Flyers were hardcore all over their opponents in most games but simply didn't have enough finishers. The Mad Russian will dominate many games in his first season.
All russians can be bought. Giving a million or 2 to his team to liberate him early is most likely what's going on. Noone cares if it's legal or not, it's Russia we're talking about.

Depends if Danny and co. Decide to go all in when he gets here. My guess is he will come over, and develop more in year 1, hopefully when there's not too much pressure on him being THE guy, ala Giroux after 2012 playoffs

Coots wants out? Seems unlikely. Who would be crazy enough to take that contract with his health history & lack of production this season? Briere would be insane to retain salary for that long. Previous agent shot his mouth off when Coots was benched. Perhaps he didn't appreciate fuel being added to the fire.
The way they, the Experts touted Michkov , I would think he would be up there with Bedard. It was always those 2 players 1 and 1A. Unless Michkov stock has fell over the last year.
