  2. Matthews not playing again tonight says a fair bit about his buy-in to this team and winning in the playoffs. Before all you Matthews' fan boys pipe up about it being the doctor's decision to pull him from the game, it almost always comes down to the player whether or not they can play in the game. One major caveat would be with some head injuries because there is a lot of attention on them due to possible law suits around them, so those are cases where doctors do sometimes step in to protect the player from themselves. To support my case, a couple easy examples of Draisaitl a couple years ago where no doctor would ever say his ankle is fit for playing, and Bergeron I believe last year or the year previous that I think it was a punctured lung? I believe this is a case of the player deciding he can't play, and the team protecting him and his reputation because they are stuck with him for a few more years with the huge contract.

  3. The fact that they haven't won on home ice in awhile will get them a W, their overdue, get ready for a game 7. Reeves said it before game 5, " sports are crazy, you never know what can happen "
