Cant tell if he wants to come back or wants to retire. He sounds like he knows this was his last game but he talks like he knows what hes going to change next year with the team.

I’m just going to not watch the video as objective proof of what he said, and rely on my gut as a fan to trust it will enrage me.
Better to be an online asshole while trusting my gut than to watch what is happening in front of me and adapt my reasoning in response.

Bowness has a really good vibe. I did feel like the team kind of beat themselves in some ways. But I also think coaching had a big part in our loss – especially special teams. But at the end of the day, Winnipeg is a small town with an NHL team playing at a very high level, and instead of blowing everything up last year they had arguably their best regular season ever.
They lost badly in the playoffs, but now they (should) know, that the regular season success amounts to 60/70 percent of the way there. What are the individual players going to do to unlock their final 30/40 percent of effort, skill and ability? I do wonder about what tools the team employs psychologically. Because “working on your mental game” is so vague. I want to know how many people work with players in either therapy, meditation / preparation, or any other method – it’s clear that the team improved a ton this year in that regard but I wonder if there’s a way to unlock more out of the players by essentially preventing them from rattling themselves like they did this year.

Back a brinks truck to Craig Berubes house and if he doesn’t sign with us wait for the end of the playoffs and go after Brindamour.
