As a UK alum and fan, for a long time, I am also a Calipari fan. Cal has always said that some of the best players in the transfer portal are found among the group when they decide not to go further with the NBA right now. I would note that there are four of Cal's former players left, who have not pulled out of the pre-draft process. And Edwards is the highest ranked, projected around 31st, so late in the first round. And Edwards knows that Cal kept his faith in DJ when he was going through a rough bit of doubting himself. If he pulls any two of these guys, wow.
Other UK fans seem to ignore that the players have a different view of the pitchfork and torch crowd howling for their coach's hide. Just like they ignore that all three of their 7 footers were delayed in when they were allowed to actually play. How many times does a player come off a 6 month layoff and work his way into a critical part of a team, when it is 1/2 way through the season? And the earliest one was Ugonna, who was probably the least talented of the three.

Last time we had a John (el)L, the one word phrase "Smile" was born! Norchad? Norchad??? What person names their kid, Norchad? Is he related to Giga Chad? Don't take Battle back, scrub left us and is only coming back because he thinks he sees dollars. Not to mention only playing like he was paid to at the end of the season after bad mouthing and dissing the coach numerous times. Go Hogs! Suck it, Blue Ball Nation! Invest in more jelly lube.
