Settle down. The oilers aren’t that good.
Kraken fan here rooting for the Oilers for win it all baby! I just feel this is their year.
150% swing on special teams between the two clubs in the series. That has to be a record.
Its up to Edmonton and Vancouver to end Canada's cup drought! (Lets not kid ourselves, the leafs are done)
Another scary thing, when asked who the best oilers has been, notice everyone in the comments saying different players
Nuge's forecheck is one of the best in the league.
Vinny was SO BAD last year. So far this year pretty solid. But, he’s still Vinny so I expect Vinny things come round two.
#55 is coming into his own I think.
Nuge was a beast on the pk
🧡💙
I love this team! I'm in Atlanta, everybody thinks we don't care. Hey we care.
It's McDavid – he sets up plays like he's a chess master. Just amazing. And more gears are available!
Ryan McCleod super underrated solid well rounded game first round
both mcdavid and draisaitl have also completely committed to defensive play
This is the year
Our coaching staff is pushing sll the right buttons. Theyre overlooked in all this.
Not to insult them at all but Vancouver will be a hugh different story if they do go to the second round, Los Angeles was the second wildcard team and basically still needed rebuilding, I can say this exactly compares to the Hurricanes and Islanders game, Hurricanes are strong, but it was a wildcard team that are basically still in a deep rebuild.
Hell yeah I’m here for the Desharnais respect, man has been so solid!

In b4 Florida/Edmonton
Nugent is always reliable. Hes always where he needs to be and skating hard.
EDMvNYR in the finals. Edmonton wins
The eighties called
They want their oilers back
Can't wait until next season when the Oilers sweep the Kings in the first round of the playoffs.
Leonnor McDraihyman for the win
Leonnor McDraihyman for the win
I thought Mattias Janmark was remarkably sharp on the penalty kill and handled the puck well on that fourth line. He even chipped in a few assists.
Bouchard
Fuck Edmonton
Honestly the probably would have beat them in Game 3 if not for the two defensive mistakes.
it definitely feels like the best we've been in recent years heading into round 2. I still have my doubts about whether we can compete with the likes of Vegas, Avs, or even Florida over a 7 game series. but having guys like Hyman, Holloway, Vinny etc. and especially Stu stepping up massively can only be a good thing. 💙🧡
fk the oilers
Evander Kane.
the supporting cast is deep Perry, Hollaway, Janmar is your 4 th line. grit speed and 200 ft player. they have the bases covered . play as a team . teams with cups not individuals. that is what the Conn Smyth is for
I gotta give Skinner his props he stole them a game when they were outshot by like 20 shots
Lets go Flames
I still think they get clamped by whoever comes out of the other half of the west
I’m a flames fan at heart but happy for Edmonton and the oilers. Hoping they can break the curse and being the cup back where it belongs 🇨🇦🍁
Edmonton put on a CLINIC yesterday in the 3rd period, defending that 4-2 lead. Until LA made it 4-3. the only thing they could do was dump the puck into Edmonton's zone or try to skate it in, which resulted in Edmonton engaging in a puck battle, winning said puck battle, and then sending it out of their zone. 15 minutes into the 3rd period, LA only had 3 shots on net. At one point, their players were blocking their own shots and not Edmonton.
Edmonton showed that defensive game they utilitzed during the 16-game win streak, and it's no surprise they came out of LA only allowing 1 goal against in 2 games. It was a well executed plan. Do I think they still win it? No. But they showed that if they play like that, they have a shot. And that's all they need to make magic happen
Henrique ekholm ceci throw in Perry man Ken Holland is a great gm
Yeah they are good but any team they have to go against is equally good like Vancouver, avs, stars and inured reserves
Where’s the love for Zack Hyman in the comments? Man’s been playing consistently this whole series.
Desharnais is a completely different player from last year.
Oilers fan here, honestly game four was terrible for us. We got lucky with good goaltending. But our defense was awful, we wrremt physical, didnt have puck possession or shots on net. We didnt have expected goals for, nor especially good shots, just one good Power play, great goaltending and to be fair a stellar penalty kill (that last one the entire series).
GO CANUCKS GO
People keep talking about the lack of depth… but, all but 3 skaters earned points in this 5 game series against the #3 defense and #3 net PK in the regular season.
They better win it now – we can’t have damn Vegas, Carolina or dirty tkachuk winning.
Hyman has the best smile 😍
