Danault is outstanding but he wanted out. Starting to think he was right because Canada is going to be in neverending lockdown. Good for him.
Danault wouldn’t have made a crazy difference for the canadiens and I’m still not convinced that contract isn’t too much.

They constantly change dvorak's lines men, he was doing pretty good with drouin and anderson at the start of the season before ducharme started to switch them.

PD has been an absolute workhorse. You can tell right away the value he brings to this team. Bottom of my heart, thank you Montreal for letting this one get away.
Danault has been amazing! It helps that he’s playing with Iafollo, who might be having a break out year. those two guys have a bunch of chemistry fun to watch them play and are the line who shut down the other teams top lines

In all fairness, Dvorak was KK's replacement, not PD's. PD is a valuable hockey player even though he's nothing more than a glorified 3rd line C. As for Dvorak, I think his future is at W. Give him less responsibility and I think the points will come.
That "Danault doesn't produce offensively" argument is kinda stupid. 50 pts a year for a defensive player is far from as bad as people make it out to be.
Danault was a defensive hire. I said it before that this improves the offense because it will free up Kopi.
What i didn't expect was that his line wouldn't just shut down the opposition but could actually set them back on their heels by pushing the play up ice.
Danault is everything we Kings fans could have hoped for.
