For those wondering, this was his last game because ABC has the exclusive rights of game 7.

Thanks, Jack.

Why can’t he talk properly?

I genuinely hope he has a good retirement and whatever has been affecting his speech isn’t too serious.

Damn. I am not at all a fan of Jack Edwards and the way he’s called games for years, but this actually brought a tear to my eye. I hope he gets the medical help he needs, and I wish him the best in his retirement!

Will miss you Jack! Not even a bruins fan but was a fan of him. Iconic.

So long, Jack. Bruins games just got easier to watch for fans of other teams.

Wow. I’m not attached to that club or fan base in any way, but this hit me in the feels. Hope he has a wonderful retirement and is able to receive whatever he needs medically to live a fruitful life with his family.

Best wishes to him in retirement.

Never had much nice to say about him but you can’t question the loyalty. Hope he enjoys retirement.

Wow. Good for him for finishing strong despite the medical issues. Professional to the last second

Not at all what I was expecting.
This is part sad and part badass. Reminds me of a hockey player who leaves bleeding, gets stitches and comes back to play. Dude’s a fuckin’ gamer. Respect.
I wish him all the best health in retirement.

Man I’m not a bruins fan or a Jack fan, but like that was a touching goodbye. I feel for the guy bc you can tell he still has the passion, but for whatever reason he just can’t keep up anymore. He’s got a great voice, and despite being an absolute homer he called a good game. I wish him the best

Made me a bit sad watching this. Hope he has a good retirement
