    When the Canucks first announced they were hiring Tocchet at the end of last season, I was not looking forward to the following season.
    Now, I am fully confident that he is one of best coaches this team has ever seen, the team has followed his systems all season long and now they are reaping the benefits. I am so glad Tocchet has proven me wrong, this team is incredible.

    "Ultimately it's my decision." Referring to Clark advising him of which goalie to play. what he's saying is that Clark gets to make the decision but whatever happens Tocc's taking responsibility for it. Sign of a true leader. If I had to guess Clark probably said De Smith's only at 80%… And Silov has been solid… enough to win a game.

    Tocchet is the wop dude who got in trouble once for fixing games and gambling back in the day! But thank god his spaghetti meatball ass cleaned up and now doing a great job coaching the Canucks! His dago ass deserves a cup…cheers!

    The series was incredibly close in every aspect – except penalty calls. While refereeing wasn't an ultimate factor in the series (it was in Game 4), it's amazing in a series this physical Nashville was given double the powerplays (24-13) – and were given late-game powerplays on borderline calls (while goaltending interference was ignored). Just sayin'.

    These two have not met since 1992, and this will be a tough Series to call. The battle will be between the Oiler offense, and Canucks superb defense. But hard to call…
