[iMac] Lots of emotion in Canucks’ room post-game, especially from players who lived through the chaos because they believed in the team. J.T. Miller: “Not any part of me ever wanted to go somewhere else. Why would I want to leave something that I’ve always been looking for?”

  1. This one’s for all the folks that fought in the trenches over keeping him o7

  2. TrailDaddy69

Ring of Honour next year, I’ve seen enough.

J! T! MILLLLLLLLERRR!!!! What an absolutely privilege to have someone like him and his family who legitimately cares about this team and this city!

  4. AccomplishedAd4995

guys, he might be my favourite current canuck

  5. Did anyone notice when Murph was interviewing Miller that Myers walked into the background and was holding some information placard up and while he was reading the placard to himself you could see his lips were moving. My wife and I were losing it laughing.

  6. 9 years. Fucking 9 years of bullshit. Look at where the team is now. Amazing.

  7. I cannot believe I once bitched about this dude because he slammed his stick. The guy is all heart

I feel the best for him and Boeser. Both guys were seemingly out the door last year’s Trade Deadline. The turnaround from that low to this high is incredible.

I really want to know if Boes said anything… he’s been with the Canucks the longest, and went through multiple seasons of trade rumours and fans wanting to ship him out, to being a 40 goal scorer in the regular season and CONTINUING to show up huge in the playoffs so far

Always loved Miller. His attitude reminds me of myself

My favorite Canuck from his first season here 🤍 So happy to see this group FINALLY finding success together after the tease / rugpull that was the bubble run.

You tell em’ JT! *Bring us to the promise land!*

I hope I get to hear a chant through the TV again

Miller and Boeser were damn near chased out of town and both are by far our best forwards. Crazy to think of where we were and where we are now in regards to those two guys. I bought a Hockey Fights Cancer Boeser jersey, gotta get me a Miller jersey now. These guys have been the heart beat of the team all year.

Yesterday’s price is not today’s price!

Fuck it, I’ll fully eat crow over hating his extension and what it meant for the team. Just can’t care about the later years of his deal if you’re bringing this much passion to the team and pushing them more than anyone else. Even if we regress next year he’s fully solidified himself here as someone who is irreplaceable in what they bring to the room.

  17. We apologize, JT. We weren’t familiar with your game.

  18. GoldenChest2000

Damn I got a new skate with Burr, wondering if I should’ve got Miller instead

  19. AShavedGorilla

Man, Miller is still underrated in this market.

Sure, everyone acknowledges he’s good now, but he’s very clearly going to be an all time great canuck.

He currently has 402 pts in 364 gp as a canuck. Naslund is third all-time 756 pts in 884 gp. JT Miller has six seasons left on his contract. He would only need to average 60 pts a year over those remaining years to pass Naslund, which seems almost unthinkable at this point.

He’s currently only second to Bure in points per game.

And he brings so much more to the table than points.

I don’t care what you thought about the trade at the time, we’re watching one of the absolute greatest canucks of all time and it’s time fans start talking about miller that way.

Millers going to end up being a legend in this city, and it’s time to recognize him for what he is.

  20. smokylimbs

I don’t care what went down at the pumpkin patch, JT Miller is a beauty, and I’m glad he’s on the team.

  21. International_Pen478

I can not afford another jersey but I know what needs to be done

  22. downonmatrix

I can’t help but think he’s taking shots at horvat 😂. Either way yk horvat is choked being eliminated and now watching all his former teammates having success/fun and move onto round 2

  23. I remember when Luke schenn called him out several years ago and there were questions of miller’s work ethic. Holy smokes what a turnaround from those dark days

  24. Classic-Mortgage1701

All love to Hughes but JTs our captain

  25. brackygen

You fickle fans. If they’re swept next round your tune will change completely. I don’t blame you for having faith now and endlessly quoting stats but do you not see how pointless this game by game assessment is? Their chances change game to game as do ALL games!

  26. I apologize for anything negative I ever said about this man (even if it was kinda deserved at the time)

That’s a Vancouver fucking Canuck right there
