  1. The Kings ca still fleece a few teams:
    – Sharks – PLD + 1st for Zadina, Granlund, Blackwood + 2nd
    – Canadiens – PLD for Guhle, Newhook, Dach
    – Ducks – PLD for Vatrano and Gibson
    – Caps – PLD for Ovechkin.

  2. Look, as someone who watched all 5 games of this series from start to finish, Dubois was HEAVILY shadowed by Ryan McLeod and Sam Carrick/Derek Ryan. They did a good job minimizing his impact in the games, to the point where yeah, he did look invisible at points. I remember that he was brought it to give LA a chance to win the matchup vs McDavid and Draisil as those guys would be matched up with one of Kopitar/Danault.

  3. The Kings played so well the last couple of games. It's just the oilers are so explosive on the power play. I think overall the Kings looked good, I'm really liking Kempe, and hopefully big things happen for him next year. As a long time Kings fan, I can die happy that I saw them win the Cup twice, but a third one would be nice some day. I just wish they could stop facing Edmonton in the first round. I have a rule that whoever eliminated your team has to go on to win the cup. So even though I hate them, I hope the oilers win the Cup to make it all worthwhile.

  4. As a kings fan I'm definitely not a fan of this trade. that being said, I do think we owe him at least one more year to try and gain some confidence and prove himself. After all, it can't be easy to try and adjust to a new environment, new teammates, and a new system, ALL while being under the spotlight for a huge contract and supposed toxicity. That kind of pressure has got to be insane.

  5. Classic Pierre-Luc DoNothing. As an Oilers fan, this makes the Nurse contract look like we signed Lidstrom to a life-long ELC deal. So it's got that going for it.

  6. Blake has got to go! He’s made some of the worst trades ever! Not just PLD, but many before. On top of that, he negotiates HORRIBLE contracts!

  7. There are those who think that Pierre Luc Dubois is the worst contract in the entire NHL. They must have forgotten that Jonathan Huberdeau has a 8 year contract with the Flames for $10,500,000/yr that lasts until 2031, and he only gets ~10 more points in the regular season than Pierre Luc Dubois.

  8. He got the bag 💰 and the sun 🌞 in Los Angeles … What other city is better to be rich in? Time to coast 😎

  9. Dumped quick ..f off..I’ll never be a kings fan again..and to those who will reply.. I’ll NEVER visit this post again soooooo. f you too 🙂

  10. I remember the PLD for Slafkovsky talk in the Montreal fanbase.
The Habs dodged a bullet on that one.

  11. One of the things trending, in the Pittsburgh area, is for the Pens to trade Tristan Jarry to the Kings, because of how well Ned played this season, and the prospect of Joel Blomqvist winning a spot on the NHL club, next season.
It would make sense, for both teams, because it would give LA a damn solid goaltender who needs to play behind a solid defense, for a little while, to regain his confidence. He finished the season tied for the lead in Shutouts, but had some really rough games, mostly due to Pens' defensive breakdowns.

  12. He’s a guy who has high natural ability, but seems to lack the passion, the drive, and it shows. Overpaid diva, scored a few zingers, few and far between.

  13. Dubois and Gabrikov to Calgary for Huberdeau and Markstrom. Flames seem to love Russians lately. Funny how the two worst contacts in NHL history belong to two French players.

  14. Chicago could take him but they'd need to get some decent picks. Maybe trade for Hall too. Chicago needs more picks, Hall would be great for the Kings and Dubois' contract would help bring Chicago up to the floor

  15. my new hope is that pld is traded to pitt for crosby and a 5th. i would laugh so hard hearing you eat crow for the direct quote here. pleeeease.

  16. Pay a guy top 6 money then play him in the bottom 6, yea doesn't make sense. Good players shine with good line mates, good minutes, PP time. They get touches on the puck, their confidence starts rolling, they get in a groove. It's not this guys fault. Plus first years of big contracts are hard mentally, once that dust settles he'll do better.

  17. eh … the Oilers have Campbell. It's not that bad! PLC will tear up the minor leagues!! 🤣🤣😂😂

  18. I can’t stand this guy. He’s an absolute plug with a horrendous attitude. Watching him lazily glide around in a playoff elimination game is infuriating and I don’t even like the Kings lol. This guy is 25 YEARS OLD lol. This is when he should be hitting his stride, but it’s clear he just does not care wherever he is. How can you be unhappy playing professional hockey in LA.

  19. His exit interview was a PR disaster. When asked what he could do to improve for the next season, he said he planned to go to the gym to workout and do some skating drills. Huh? GM Blake got sucker punched with this deadweight so-called hockey player.
