Every year the same, regular season too easy and then first round loss clearly. Idk what people have with this Josi he s not special he is a swiss so he will never have an impact on a stanley cup as no swiss ever has before! this is mentality! No experience I would love to say for this overrated dude. Should go back to swiss together with his swiss looser colleagues and average players like hischier, meier, fiala and niederreiter. Al 5 player (best players of switzerland) had no impact anytime for a team before in a playoff series. And this is leadership JOSI? HE gets too much icetime. Look at his playoff stats, look at other swiss players stats in playoff. Ridicilous. This has to stop. NHL don t need any swiss player at all. 20 years ago no swiss players played in nhl and now such kiddies who are sometimes captain of a team that s ridicilous. IDK what an owner of a franchise has thought to give him this role. He failed last 1o years so now he should retire and give the place someone else who is capable of doing more damage. 4 rd line next season for you nothing more. As a preds fan, i can't say i'm not a little sad. But i'm happy with how well we did this season and in the playoffs when everyone CONTINUALLY wrote us off all season. I hope we get better and stronger this offseason. 💙💙💛💛

As a Vegas fan, I'd argue that Demko's complete shutdown of our offense in games 5 thru 7 in the bubble was the most impressive perfomance I've seen from a Canucks goalie. He almost single handedly stole that series away, and destroyed us for the next round afterwards. And I'm pretty sure he was the backup for Markstrom at the time, so to a fairly new hockey fan like me at the time, he was virtually unknown. Dude impressed me a lot that year!
So yeah, all the respect for how Silovs has played, but I can't forget about Demko!

Last year after Worlds Arturs Irbe said good things about Arturs Silovs .He was impressed.
Silovs deserves a backup role with the Canucks next year.

Watched this game on HNIC. Great game but what bothers me is Kelly Hrudey. In the Leafs game 4 he says that Marner is acting like a child for throwing his gloves. Last night several times Vancouver players broke their sticks on the bench and JT Miller kicking the door at the bench. Not a word out of Hrudey. This guy talks like he's the reincarnation of Terry Sawchuk but in reality he was a average goalie who admits giving up on his teammates in San Jose.

Grats THG. I know you just did that whole "canadian teams aren't a thing video" but I really like seeing more Canadian teams advancing. We can't ever count on the Maple Leafs it seems, but at least the Canucks aren't playoff choke artists, and I'm really happy to see a Western Canadian Conference semi-finals. If the Canucks take out my Oilers, I promise I'll hop on the bandwagon… but until that point, we gonna be enemies =P

Nucks had an excellent record vs Oilers this year; 4W-0L. If Silovs can keep up his tremendous performance, Nucks will be fine. Preds were the best team in the league in the 2nd half of the season.
was the lindholm penalty a penalty? yes. Were the refs letting that slide ALL game, multiple times against the canucks? also yes. Dog shit call by the refs, but i'm glad we got it

No matter what happens vs the oilers I’m just happy a Canadian team( other than the leafs) is making it too the semi finals🎉. But seriously that’s going to be an insane series, Canucks have the better goaltending and defence, but oilers have a phenomenal PP and McDavid
I don't know if I'm bias because this was the only series I actually care about, but it seemed like the linesmen got in the way of the puck so many times throughout this series. The NHL needs to teach its refs better positioning.
