    Absolutely heartbreaking. Toronto fans deserve better. I can’t believe the Leafs keep losing the way they do. Sometimes it’s almost unfathomable.

    I called it at the beginning of the playoffs. Since they’re playing Boston, Boston will be winning the series, and the leafs will force a Game 7 from behind, and then Boston will win game 7 in overtime. That’s the script

    I’m older than most people I see here. They will get used to it.
    It’s funny, every year or two, an 8th seed makes a run to the finals. Leafs nation is crucifying management and coaching, and some players. I’m ok with this, because they are paid big bucks to perform. If this exact team played like their 18-5 stretch at the start of the playoffs, we might be in the finals.
    I was very nervous when we finished the season on losing streak because how you play now is the only time it matters, after you make the playoffs.
    Anyway, rant over. I have no doubt everyone involved gave it their best. Maybe next year our winning streak will start in round 1.

    I love the look of fans who wear freshly bought gear, who haven’t watched a second of regular season hockey, get upset.

    You can tell the reaction of a real fan. When the Habs shit the bed, which is often, I don’t even flinch. Why? Because it’s happened so many times before.
