  1. Packers fan here in WI, this is the best move yet for the packers. Jones was not that good of a back and it’s time the packers get a back they deserve. It’s ok to want better fellow packer fans.

  2. It’s not unlike Gutey. This ain’t Ted Thompson anymore. He’s shown his willingness to make moves in FA. This is the new brand. Draft and develope is crucial! But adding some spice so to speak with FA is what separates the deep playoff teams from the teams sitting home in January.

  3. Aaron jones blocks in that dallas game were crucial… Jacobs has to step up in that way besides just being a better rusher

  4. A Jones cap hit was over 17 million for a dynamic but often injured 29 year old running back, his agent was playing hardball. They had the whole off season to work out a deal. The Packers were very upfront with him.

  5. Josh Jacobs only averaged 3.5 yards per carry last year. I don't trust Alabama players to return to form after declining. The Packers already went through that with Eddie Lacy and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

  6. I agree. No one has repped the 'G' better than Aaron Jones. Him moving to the Vikings just makes this worse. There's no sugar-coating this. As a Packer fan, I'm gutted to see Aaron Jones go. As impressive as Jones was and still is as one of the most successful running backs of his era, he is more impressive as a man and human being. He unselfishly gave the Packers a hometown discount. Who does that? I wish Jones nothing but the best in his future and look forward to seeing his Packer achievements celebrated by the organization in the future. Jones may not finish his career in GB but in our hearts, Aaron Jones is a Packer for life.

  7. It still makes absolutely no sense! The man earned his money. And you wonder why players act like so called divas because when you work hard and do everything you're suppose to do you still get cut in the end. I mean the guy already took a pay cut now you want to cut half his salary?! I wish Aaron nothing but the best….Just not the Vikings!😂😂😂

  8. As a packer fan. I want one more rb. A 3rd round or fourth round rookie to take 20% of the carries and keep jacobs fresh and mix in emmanuel wilson who averaged iver five yards a carry for GB last year

  9. Gutekunst knows what he is doing as he builds a team to compete for Super Bowls. He showed that in drafting Jordan Love and all the receivers and TEs that he struck gold with.

  10. played in 11 games and 2 of those he got hurt during the game – so that is 9 full games for jones… which I think the Vikes will be Lucky to get out of him, unless they have bonic hamstrings available… Dillon is the thunder but without the thunder

  11. Well, . . . . I don’t recall teams getting any extra points at seasons end for having “nice guys” on the roster. Jacobs is an upgrade, get over it cheeseheads 😊😊

  12. Onward and upward. It's a business. Everyone will bitch about losing Jones until Josh balls out. Then the world will be right again.
