    Sucks that the isles couldn't win it at the last year Nassau but they still have hope, their window is still way open in my opinion, and I don't think they are going anywhere in terms of being a playoff powerhouse

    1. Dump Ladd at any cost. 2. Get rid of ebs and Leddy thru trade/expansion draft. 3. Upgrade top line with a rw that can score and quit anchoring down Barzal with the likes of komarov. Until they get a scorer on Barzal's rw Isles will continue to come up one goal short in the ecf/semis.
    Too bad Isles two runs coincided with the tb repeat run. Isles gave tb their tuffest series in '20 and '21 and surely would have beaten habs this finals. Stars last finals as well. wow tb lucked out into getting some weak ass finals competition.
    And as long as Isles have Barry behind the bench they'll always have a chance. Just needs to keep leo off of that top line and give Wahlstrom a chance. And lou will bring back most of this roster and look for tdl upgrades once again. Hopefully tb falls by second round next playoff like all repeat winners do. GO Isles!!!

    And Lou blew it with Holmstrom. He should have taken speedy c Tomasino instead. Isles could have had the two fastest centers in the nhl with Barzal and Tomasino. And wild card is Wilde at B'port. He has all the tools as an offensive d man. He can shoot from the point. Has a quick deadly wrister he can use too. And for a guy with his size can move with the puck out there. I know the knock is Wilde doesn't think the game well. Perhaps Wilde has a good camp and gets a shot at some point next season. He certainly could help the problematic Isle pp with his offensive ability.
