Any possible home ice advantage for the Stars was nuked with the Avs getting a whole week of rest over the Stars one day. That’s plenty of time for an easy travel schedule and to settle in.

**G1 Avs W:** Dallas comes out hot on Colorado knowing the Avs had a lot of rest. Dallas score the first 2 goals going into the halfway point, Avs come roaring back winning 5-2 (1 EN goal).
**G2 Avs L:** Back and forth nail-biter but lack of penalties favors the Stars after Debitchface complained again about officiating after G1. Avs lose, 4-6.
**G3 Avs W:** Avs blow out the stars 7-1 at home, Otter is chased from the net after a Mikko hat trick early in the 2nd. All but 1 goal were scored on 5v5, Stars fans proceed to shit themselves.
**G4 Avs W:** Drouin returns, Avs have another comeback win down 3 goals early in the second. Avs win, 6-3.
**G5 Avs W:** I know a lot of you would love for the Avs to clinch the WCF on home ice – but I don’t see it happening. Avs win, 3-1. Drouin scores the GWG.
