Can't blame Marner for that play. How often is the opposing player a threat to score, when he's at center ice? The onus is more on Lybushkin and/or the other defender to retrieve the puck asap once it was dumped in.

Rosen, Kulich have not even showed up in the Amerks playoffs. Tells me they aren't ready for the NHL and need more time. So yes Rosen is expendable. Kisakov a second round pick isn't even dressed. Jokiharju should be flipped flopped with Clifton. Joker should be signed to short term contract. I don't think he will fit into Ruffs philosophy in how to play defense. When I see Jokiharju have a dog face look after UPL gets run over multiple times I'm done with him. I don't care how good an offensive defenseman he is get him off this team NOW. Do not sign Girgensons but I heard TP really likes him so that's a mistake.
First off Having skinner on this team still is an abomination. Buyout his contract and save 7.3 million now, his buyout is 2.4. Million for 6 years thats peanuts with the cap going up every year. Now got another 7.3 to play with. Id be Trying to Trade whatever was needed for Brady Tkachuk. If it Takes Owen Power and Jack Quinn so be it, i love Quinn to death but his health has me questioning his longevity. Or Maybe it will Take Power Rosen a 1st rd pick and either or another pick or Prospect idc. Also keeping Joki around is another wrong move , dont resign him go out and get Matt Roy in free agency if he gets there, hes a Righty with toughness and a lil bit of scoring knack on him ,with also good size. If its possible to bring in Kane great but if Quinn stays Kane is gettinf 3rd line minutes hes not getting any younger. Hopefully Sabres could also pluck Lawson crouse from Utah , weird saying that state. As much as i like Marner he does nothing in the playoffs so if inhad to Choose im def making a run for Brady Tkachuk in a heartbeat. This is the type of player the Sabres need. Also The Sabres need a Vet Tendy behind UPL. GivenLevi a full season in Rochester there is no reason to rush him. Get a Backuo tendy who has a Decent Record. As for the Prospects i can See savoie and Ostlund coming in to take over for that team esp if they dont push it for a spot in Buffalo as well as Wahlberg. Time for Kulich to come up( even tho Defense is lacking) leaving Rosen as the main Trade prospect along with a few others.

Realistic mock is good, but I think they go further (adding a d); Chaotic mock is exaclty that, chaos. Tkachuk's a fun target. Marner isn't. We aren't trading Power. Still, respect that it certainly was chaotic, and not something they should do in full. The forwards are fun, but that defense is completely gutted.
Trading anything for Marner would be GM killing move and Retarded one as well. Has everyone forgot that Cozens plays best with Quinn so why trade him. I would trade for Brady and Kirill tho. I would give Rosen, Samuelsson Krebs 1st and 25 2nd, 24 3rd plus skinner if he is willing to waive for either Thachuk or Kaprisov. A more conservative would sign Bennett and Kane then sign a backup goalie then leave Levi down for a full year to dominate.

I dont think the Pegulas would sign Patrick Kane because of his past legal troubles. Love the Karlsson Vegas deal. I have Kulich on the 3rd line at RW and im signing UFA Dakota Josha Van or Ryan Lomberg FLA for RW on the 4th line with Greenway &Krebs. Remember , Adams said that he wants to add more abrassiveness and grit to the bottom 6 forward group!
Im saying bye bye to Jokiharju as the Sabres need more grit and size on D that being said Im signing UFA Brett Pesce Carolina , Chris Tanev Dallas or Josh Brown Arizona to partner Owen power on the 2nd D pair. 3rd D pair will be Sammuelsson and Clifton with Ryan Johnson as the 7th D .

Our Blue Line would be taking a 2 season regression with this mock trade and there’s no way that Zack Benson’s name should be included in any trades tbh.
Once he physically and maturely gets a little stronger and older, then grows into his tenacity and hockey IQ, he’d be one of those players we severely regretted traded. Kinda like when Toronto traded Tuuka Rask to Boston for Andrew Raycroft. Raycroft is no Kaprizov, but Benson has the potential to be the Rask.
I’d feel much better if we gave up an unproven in the NHL Savoie or Kulich, than Benson.

Trade skinner for Penny’s. 5th round pick to some team that’s not gonna be good for 3 years anyways like San Jose and then go to work. I want Stamkos. Add Stamkos onto this roster and we are instantly a contender

Kulich-Cozens-Stamkos
Benson-thompson-Quinn
Peterka-Chandler Stephenson-Tuch
though it will never happen id love to see Tkachuk here… Quinn Cozens Tkachuk – Tuch Thompson Peterka.. trade for Scott Laughton.. 3rd line Benson Laughton Skinner… 4th line Robinson Biro Greenway extra forward Murray and/or a free agent vet on a one year deal.
