  1. Ridiculous that such a stupid thing causes outrage. People are way too thirsty for angertainment.

  2. 'Gods'? I think he got it backwards: 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶.

  3. He didn't call himself a God? go back to school Duuuude!

He's not wrong. Look at these comments. Look how fanatical and crazy Canadian hockey fans can be.

When they lose, they have to use half of that 11 million for security. Bodyguards to escort their children to school.

It's not funny. Canadian fans go too far

  4. Hockey players are DREADFUL at live interviews on a good day, I'm not sure why anyone expected anything other than buffoonery, or something sleep-inducing. Marner's clearly multifaceted, because his interview managed to be both.

  5. Marner isn’t wanted in Toronto so just trade him. Doesn’t matter what he wants. There are teams that would sure welcome him with open arms and he’ll make probably excel there.

  6. They should have traded him last year with 2 years left on the contract. Some teams would have probably stepped up to offer their trade ideas. Now with 1 year left what team wants to trade away a load of assets for a what basically is a rental?
Marner only turned 27 yesterday, but really this is turning into a mess where he could just play out next season and go UFA.
Toronto brought this on themselves by shoveling out too much salary too soon.

  7. marner come to pittsburgh play for a franchise who know how to win not this bum toronto poverty franchise lol

  8. The reality is, Marner is NOT producing when it MATTERS. Doesn't matter how he sees the Core Four/Five or not, they have all failed time & time again over the last 8 years. It's gotta change ASAP.

  9. He hit it right on the nail im a leafs fan and honestly they are looked at like a fan they are a good team they have a lot of flaws and something needs to be done there this off-season

  10. Anaheim is a team with a lot of cap space and I was thinking maybe this could work if the Ducks were interested…Now, not so much. Maybe if Toronto gives the Ducks their next two first round picks to take his contract but outside of that, nah.

  11. Folks, these are hockey players, not PR marketing people. If he said something correct, but using the wrong wording, who cares. I think he needs to be traded, but not because of his public speaking mistakes, his lake of hustle on the ice.

  12. Oh GOD, you think much too much of yourself Mitch. Softest Leaf I have seen on the team in 50 years. Watched Pasta blow by him and go in a score in OT, how was that Mitch???
