He said what he said, Avalanche got some great players out of it and won an SC and Duchene no longer plays on the team he was traded to from Colorado.
At this point the storyline is over. Colorado won and both organizations have moved on.

Always interesting to me how differently the Avs and Rockies franchises seem to regard Duchene and Arenado, both perennial all-stars through multiple seasons of bad teams that eventually requested and received trades. Granted, the situations weren’t identical, but close enough to compare.
General sentiment among Rockies fans for Arenado as far as I can tell is “meh, good for him for escaping.” Meanwhile widespread vitriol for Duchene. Is the difference simply the fact that the Rockies are still bad and the Avs have gotten good?

He had one really good season in Nashville and every other year was mediocre even when he played for us.
I’m sorry but hovering in the 50-60 point range is nothing special. We annihilated Nashville in that deal.

The purposeful grainy post about something so irrelevant now is just a light joke to give Dallas and Duchene a fun jab. Anyone still booing him in Denver when he steps on the ice need to get a grip haha.
