Im only a bit into the video and you are the only person that I've heard say that shanahan runs the team the opposite of how he played…ive been thinking that the whole time…the only reason why I was excited to him being brought in.
Babcock was a kunt though. There's plenty of stories from respected ex-players, and current players that tell me he was a goof. I wanted Lou to last longer as GM. I actually have more hope in treliving, cause of what he brought it, minus Klingberg. I knew Klingberg would be a disaster like Tyson B. I want more of a damaging defense with only 1 or 2 puck movers. I actually like the team, minus like 4 or 5 players
Forgot to mention goaltending. Goaltending should be a top priority. If Marner and Jt were of the books i would try to get a top 10 goalie, who is durable. Woll and a third string take care of the rest
Problem is these selfish gm's and executives have a must show quick results approach. They mortgage the future giving up draft picks. That's why it sucks to have to many people in the mix who are just looking out for thier own short term longevity. When the teachers board ran the show, we had a new crappy gm every five years…All trying to put their stamp on things. Alway having to report to a board of clowns and bloodsuckers.
Growing the league and being a big fish in a ever growing pond, and keeping fans hungry has always been the main presidence. Pittsburg is failing…lets get them a bunch of number one draft picks…same with Chicago…lets load up Vegas, and so on.
Other vids are saying no trade clause just means you give the player a chance to make a list of 5 to 10 teams theyd like to play for and the team helps facilitate that. Is that not true?

They should have done a slower grow…they put the cart before the horse. The Kadri trade for what they got was total garbage as well.
