I was entertained this year, just like in previous years. If you have watched for as long as I have (I'm 71) what we have witnessed in the last 8 years is far better then what in the years prior to that with the exception of the Gilmour years. If they keep on with the core 4, I'm OK with that, Knies will be better, McMann is a keeper as is Benoit. McCabe played really well, just need to find someone who can play with Morgan Reilly and all will be good.

You can tell the players don’t care about winning cause they all keep taking big contracts. Look what mackinnon did 6 million to try to win.
I'll believe that Toronto will do more than just fire their head coach when it happens. Every year is the time to do something about the Big Four and every year nothing happens and they might even resign the two UFAs of the Big Four before their contracts end next season. At least the Leafs still have their 1st round draft pick for this draft, despite having already traded away almost all their draft picks for next season too. They might want to lean harder into the US College free agency bin for the next couple seasons.

Besides Columbus we’ve gone against the toughest first round opponents every year (Carrying-the-team Price counts).
I say this every year when the leaf’s are in the playoffs. With so many of our opponents making the finals after beating us I believe more and more that is what the team needs to register. The stars get paid money to be the best (yes I know Canadas taxes suck) but it’s still a team game and together they need to sacrifice be it salary or their bodies.
Run it back and worst thing is another R1 loss and we get 20 mill cap space to play with afterwards.

I always bet the Leafs in game 7, well let's just say life's been good. It's like you can't lose if you bet against them in the playoffs.
Toronto has the break up the Big 4. Not because they are bad players but they been together for too long with with the bad luck. They beat themselves now as soon as the other team has a comeback. I knew Toronto was going to lose when Boston came back after 1 minute. You saw it on the bench just like Florida last year. You can see the exact moment where the Big 4 lost their confidence.
Get as much as you can for the guys, but break up the Big 4 if you want to go forward.
As a Habs Fan, please leave the team the way it is….😅
