Reviewing Bruins vs Panthers Game Two

Florida really controlled this one tonight in the second and third. Boston needs to find their game in the next one.

  1. I understand the "sore losers" thing on Boston's behalf, but for each scrum the B's started tonight, Florida started just as many. Also, if we're gonna focus on sore losers, let's also look at the "sore winners" on the other side who were going out of their way to taunt the Bruins on multiple goals in the third. And I'll be honest, in the playoffs I love it. I love when Gudas did it last year, I loved seeing it tonight. But if you're going to do that, you lose your right to then say "well the other team were sore losers." Everyone was disrespectful in that third. The most respectful thing was the Pasta/Tkachuk fight because they both wanted it, both invited it and were cordial about it the whole way up to dropping the gloves.

  2. Pasternak gets completely slobberknocked, then after three refs pile onto Tkachuk, Pasternak starts his swatting. Pure Boston. Next game will be 9 on 5 for sure…Ain't no way a Bruin will get discipline even if they bring and swing a chainsaw…I'm no Tkachuk fan, but trying to hit a guy at the bottom of a pile is just plain cowardace…

  3. I love how no matter who loses it’s the end of the world… if you would have told me Boston starts the series splitting in Florida I’d take that every time…. Back to Boston baby!

  4. refs let the game get out of control. definitely not in bostons best interest. yeah they got some tough dudes and cool pasta responded to the call, but it's not their game. this ain't 2011-2013 anymore. also mcavoy is playing like doodoo, grab your stick dude!

  5. It was more the fact the panthers were like haha we scored again in front of the bruins faces that caused the fight the game was over and they were rubbing salt in the wound I get it’s a playoff game but ya don’t need to be a ass about it that’s why Marchand decided to fight it was more the disrespect the panthers were giving Boston then the goal

  6. Why you always bring your team down bruins played fine till the middle of the second McAvoy lost his stick which cause Floridas second goal and everytime momentum was about to swing the bruins way they would get a stupid penalty score was 6-1 but game started with MANY opportunities for Boston which they would’ve capitalized on with some puck luck. I think they match up well against Florida

  7. To be honest I don’t think it’s fair to say the Bruins were sore losers when Florida was constantly gloating and instigating them looking for that reaction

  8. I don’t see Florida intimidated at all. They’re brawlers and boa constrictors. Spot on re Florida. They live for this type of game.

  9. Keys to this series, don't score the first goal. Panthers can't score on the power play when it matters. Boston gave up. That short handed goal was a joke. 2 guys back and no one else coming back. So Boston's last strategy, attempt to injure and/or get guys suspended. Marchand gets upset for a goal celebration and skates into Montour, then gets upset. Yup that's the "captain" The play on the bench, it was at least 3 elbows to the head, I was like 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 5 minutes, and nothing called. Pasta got a nice clean shot right to the face during the fight. Some of the Panthers that got into the scrums were surprising but really cool to see the young guy standing up for themselves. Barkov played like Barkov should always play. Hard and heavy. 9 hits. Ekblad didn't pass it the wrong team all night. I guess he got the memo he is on the red and white team, not the black and gold team. Line changes made a huge difference. Hopefully FL was just rusty and this wasn't the fluke game, but game 1 was. Good luck cats and keep your head on a swivel because Boston is desperate and immature. Lomberg, Gags, and Bennett still not in the line up. They like hitting too.

  10. I'm a born and raised in Miami Panthers fan, and I love you so much and want your teams to win. But yeah… they were kinda annoying tonight. Gonna be a hell of a series either way.

  11. I had to get up very early this morning, so I stopped watching after the second period. Even though my team lost, it sounds like the third period was entertaining.
