Anthony Cirelli thought he’d given the Lightning the lead but the goal ended up being waived off after a Panthers coach’s challenge as it was deemed Anthony Duclair interfered with goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky. This is what I’d have done.

What about the fact the skate held the glove hand in the blue crease that why it called
Should be a good goal. Duclair can't leave the area because the defenseman has a hold of his stick, unless he abandons his stick I guess. This is just as much instigated by the defense then him.
I still have no idea what goaltender interference is….. but I have no problem with this goal. Should count IMHO.
yes…he stops him from catching the puck…clearly @ 1:02 Duclair's leg, Bobrovsky's glove and the puck are all in the same place at the same time…and that time is when Duclair is clearly in the crease…clearly. No goal
100% agree. It's a good goal.
Awful call by the refs here. TBL has every right to feel cheated
You’re second guessing on the components of the rule and then you’re making excuses for why player is allowed to interfere with the goalie that’s reason your conclusion is different from the review.
Player is inside the plane of the crease. Contact is made with the goalie multiple times. The goalie is allowed to initiate contact with the player in the crease and still have it count as goalie interference. 2nd most importantly,This is a continuous play so the goalie doesn’t have a chance to reset. You don’t expect to see that much detail on the ice that’s why they needed to go to review to over turn it.
This probably wouldn't have been called GI a few years ago, but this season specifically contact in the crease has been a pretty automatic goalie interference in these reviews, unless the guy gets pushed into the crease by a defender. It doesn't matter anymore, if it really stopped the goalie from making the save or not. What matters is that you stay out of the crease if you have no business going in there.
