McAvoy hit on Kampf – Have your say!

Charlie McAvoy surprised David Kampf with a stop up hit that seemed to daze the Leaf forward. Was it legal? Have your say!

  1. Principle point of contact was the head. That's a minor penalty in regular season, but you the way this entire series is going – super physical – you can't call it at this point.

  2. Kampf ran in to back of McAvoy , Kampf was reaching for puck…. Kampf should learn to keep head up and not depend on Refs applying LAFF privilege…. A few hits like such would limit AWESOME Auston to 40 opportunity goals for him to bump in around the crease and empty netters

  3. Like Marshawn onlilligren, lilligren was out for a month. Marshawn didn’t even get a two minute penalty so we know where player safety lies that turd won’t flush.💩! George Peros, your disgrace to your profession!

  4. It's an elbow, or at least a forearm shiver, but it's a coin flip with what gets called right now so…

  5. It's hard to tell, but did Kampf actually spring the puck from the corner board battle, and did he ever have puck possession? It doesn't really look like he did, so on that ground, could it have been an interference call against McAvoy? I'm not saying it should be, I don't know the rules that well, but does anyone know?

  6. No suspension shouldn't even be a fine kampf head position clearly changed position downward after macovoy was already committed to hit no penalty no suspension no fine

  7. This is a head contact hit. Is it close yes but his arm extension prior to contact makes it obvious on the forward angle. Easily a suspension but won't get called because this league can't call anything right

  8. The sketchy looking part was that he led backwards with his elbow out. Probably should have been a penalty, but we all know how the officiating has gone this series.
