You wish your team had a Captain like Stone. He would much rather be on the ice leading his team. Just sorry your Captain hasn’t battled back from serious injuries to be in the playoffs. Has limited skate time in months never played in a line with Hertl before and still scored a goal and won the game. First Captain to win the Stanley Cup with a new franchise. Hat trick in the final game. Over all he is just a really nice guy so disappointed so many sore losers. We love you 61 ❤

After this season especially, I don’t feel bad as a Canucks fan. If Demko had been injured a week earlier we could have Hanifin right now. Yet now our star goalie is still injured for the playoffs and Vegas got away with cap criminality yet another season. Not only is Stone back magically for the first game for Vegas but they now also have Hanifin and Hertl. Good job NHL

It’s an easy fix for the league. Just like adding a player after the deadline makes him not eligible for the playoffs any player on LTIR before the end of the season is not eligible for the playoffs.
So if you fill their cap space at the deadline you can’t reactivate them.
