Even though Stu allowed a bad goal to Zaradov who has become a thorn on us…but STU PLAYED SOLID …I will add that Kane has got to be more physical throughout this series. Corey Perry still looks old. Kulak should not be in their offense zone so much. Neither should Nurse who also needs to take the body and dish. Canucks have big defenseman who play tough…our defense needs to be better …we should never have been behind and fighting back so much.this game was exhausting as it went back and forth. You were on edge…Canucks have enormous talent and depth…just play them hard and physical …take a page out from the panthers… their goalie isn’t that great.,I still think despite STU SKINNER bad goal he did PLAY BETTER…he needs to not leave the net so much and be much more aware of their attackers, from garland, zaradov ,Hughes, and JT miller. Read their in coming attacks from the side. What we did in the third period by a brilliant performance and goal by McDAVID has to continue in game 3 and 4. Let’s go OILERS!!!
Keep the foot on the gas boys. Im hoping Holloway gets more ice and we can leverage him on the forecheck more and swap out ryan for carrick to counter their physicality next game. Also the mutual respect and love for each other between leo and connor is amazing. I just picture "you're better", "no youre better" 😅

Reporters talking about him carrying the team dont understand how doing physically and mentally exerting things like defending can put a team into a position to be scored on and/or allow grade A chances. McDavid and Draisaitl drive offensive play on the Oilers, but the whole team helps create moments where they can shine eventually. McDrai couldnt do what they do without the rest of the team doing what it does. I mean, wouldnt any other team with superstars like them operate similarly?
