Looks like the Cats took game 1 personally. The state of Florida seems to breed playoff ready teams lately.
There is no denying that of all the teams, the Boston fan base perfectly encapsulates the identity of the Bruins. They are extensions of each other, and it’s been that way for years. That is both a compliment, and not at the same time.
So turns out all that "tone setting" Boston did in game 2 doesn't work on a team that loves playing physical. And Marchand was already trying that shit in game 3 but found out Bennett is not the one. The series is far from over but once PoMo went back to the normal lines, the Bruins have had no chance.
Panthers putting up 6 against Swayman is fierce.
Tampa series were much closer than Boston.despite Florida 4-1 win
During the regular season Florida had 15 powerplays against Boston and they scored 0 powerplay goals. Glad to see they finally got a few pp goals in the last 2 games.

One positive thing for the Bruins is they didn’t have a too many players on the ice penalty.
This Florida Panthers team is one of the most infuriating to play against I've ever seen, which is a compliment.

B's fan. I had Florida in 6. The series tied 2-2 with Floridas depth starting to take over and winning the series. Now I'm wishing in was a best of three just to have it over with.
The Bruins were absolutely terrible.
I'm a Bruins fan and I KNOW even if we were to win this somehow we are NOT beating the Rangers. It's better if Florida, who actually has a chance, moves on instead.

Ever since florida joined the NHL, Boston has never won a series against them. Boston also has a VERY bad record vs. Paul Maurice (Carolina years). I think its no surprise that Boston is Floridas Toronto.
These Panthers fans let me tell you… Last year we were up 3-1 against Florida, which is an even bigger lead than Florida has now, and all of us in Boston said after game 4, leading 3-1, that we would destroy Florida in 5 games. We were dominating Florida… how did that work out? We ended up losing in 7. Now you Panthers are doing the same exact thing, and only after a 2-1 lead. Nobody that is well versed and experienced with NHL playoffs hockey would ever say something like Florida is saying after just a 2-1 lead. They already think they won the Stanley Cup. It's foolish. You never know how it will end up. Don't count your chicks before they hatch.

I think the bruins will find a way to push this to 7 games. Who wins, idk? Overall I think this bruins team is soft and lacks chemistry. I personally think getting to this point in the playoffs is an over achievement for them without having a real core group and leadership. Marchand is aging out and becoming more injury prone, pasta is too soft for the playoffs and disappears. He doesn't have that krejci magic, or a young lucic at the wing lol. McAvoy burns himself out through the regular season and hasn't really shown to be the defenseman he was expected to be. If the bruins get anywhere from this point on its all thanks to Jay Sway
I’m a bruins hater but that 3rd period goalie interference call was total BS. He was held /pushed into the goalie. At minimum that should have been matching penalties.
Boston tried to goon at the start. Florida was strictly business and hit them back. Sucked the life out of them
