David St-Louis’s 2024 Mock Draft. Probably one of the most well argued/justified draft ranking I’ve seen so far.

Wishful thinking here. CHI isn’t passing on Demidov. He’s the perfect compliment for Bedard.

This isn’t David St Louis for the record this is Blue Chip Prospects. He is a huge Habs fan and actually frequents this sub.

SJ, OTT, UTAH, CGY, NJD, BUF and PHI doing backflips, a lot of talent all the way to 12-13

Demidov at 5 for us is pretty damn good too

  4. Man I sure hope this is how it shakes out. I really love his skillset on the team, and I think a well developed Demidov ensures we have two solid top lines to run. Tbh though so much of this opinion is based off the wet dream I keep having of Demidov and Caufield on the same line. I really believe those two alongside a bigger player who can retrieve and work the puck along the boards well (looking at you Dach, pls come back swinging) would be a ridiculous combo.

Not super stressed though. There are many players in this draft I see making an impact on the Habs in their own way. But I so badly want to see Demidov dangling and teeing up Caufield.

Also a big fan of Lindstrom at 5, it’s just not as outright sexy.

Blue Chip Prospect is GOATED when it comes to draft content I hope he makes it big XD

  6. Lindstrom in Chicago do make sense. But I think Columbus take him if Chicago doesn’t.

  8. 😆 I don’t mind being compared to David St-Louis. I think he’s great.

Thanks for the compliment. I hope you don’t say that just because you thought it was St-Louis lol

0% that a team blaming its failures on its softness picks Catton

Jersey definitely goes Sennecke or Yakmechuk in this scenario, might also opt for Helenius here, while he’s also 5’11, he’s bulkier and grittier than Catton

DemiGOD to the habs would make my whole summer

  11. I doubt that Lindstrom going #2. I even want to take Catton before him.

Demidov would be great for the Habs no doubt.

Just as an aside are we expecting him to be at the draft in person next month?

And will he be at the combine?

Any reason – pro or con – that he can’t/won’t show up?

no way Demidov falls to 5th, nice dream though
